The Ubiquiti U6-LR UniFi Long Range WiFi 6 PoE+ Access Point is a high-performance access point leveraging advanced WiFi 6 technology to provide powerful wireless coverage to enterprise environments. It delivers an aggregate radio rate of up to 3.0 Gbps with 5 GHz WiFi 6 (4x4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA) and 2.4 GHz 4x4 MIMO radios. The U6-LR seamlessly blends into any environment, and is capable of being mounted in indoor and semi-outdoor environment (IP54 rated)(SEE OUTDOOR INSTALLATION NOTES BELOW), and comes equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy Radio for location based services.

Important Outdoor installation requirements

The Ubiquiti U6-LR may be installed outdoors under an eave or other protected location. Do not install the U6-LR in an open environment. The mounting location should be at least 60 cm (2 ft) from the edge of the eave or ceiling and the cable feed must be pointed downwards when wall-mounted. Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for all outdoor wired Ethernet connections and should be grounded through the AC ground of the PoE. We recommend that you protect your networks from harmful outdoor environments and destructive ESD events with industrial-grade, shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti Networks

If it does, a replacement unit will be sent out the same day for delivery on the next working/business day (to most of the UK). If you wish to take the unit yourself to the service centre (currently North of London), replacement or diagnosis/repair can be carried out in person.
